Which team had the best pits?

I think by far it was team 168 the Flashbacks. If you were in the pits u saw their pit wether or not u realized it. Did u see the big swirl projecting on the roof of the pit at the far end oppisite of the fields?
that was them. they also had some really cool moving lights in their pit.The pit was alway happening and the members were always there and I know i saw most of my team there too.

Andrew

I dunno....

Not sure of the team number but the bosch team with the ceiling fan, lawn chairs, nice organized tools, and the silverish 'picket fence' has got to be the winner in my book. Nice job!

Hello All;

I'll second that - and we're the ones with the furniture grade wooden robot shipping crate that converts into the credenza/workbench/workshop tool stand which everyone comes over to photograph.

We've been outdone! So next year, improvements...

I can't help but think that a second floor lounge would have value...or at least some better lighting; something that is notoriously poor at FIRST events in the pits.

Please tell me someone noticed the 'toaster posters' in both our
pit (192) and Daniel's pit (483, B.O.R.G.)!!!

it was this link below, but without the text. we printed large poster
versions out for our pits

I noticed them, and knew immediately what I was looking at. Unfortunately robot and team were not there or I would have stopped to chat.

How could anyone miss them in both pits especially after seeing them on the forum!!

Maybe FIRST should give out awards for best pits or pins or signs or hats or shirts or warwagons or 'thundersticks'(PVC with signs to pound in the stands) AND how come everone of the finalists don't get a certificate that they were a finalist.......there are lots of ways to give out more awards so they have something to take home but making the quarter/semi finals is the most obvious way to show your school/sponsor something 'real'. It doesn't need to be every team but there are other areas....did the honarable mentions get certificates for animation or just mentioned?

Well, thanks to everyone who enjoyed our pits. We really wanted to be noticed, so we decided to light everything, plus we had that face painting too (I think we painted almost everyone on the x-cats), and those great inflatable chairs. Just wait until next year when we go above and beyond.....
