total ditto.. battlecry was an awesome comp.. we can only hope Rumble can be so fun! it's the people that make it that way..so let's hear from you! we've got several confirmations in already.. let's hear from everyone else!! maybe you just didn't get those invites yet (you never know with email) so just email us and let us know that 'WE WANT TO RUMBLE!'

it's going to be sooooo much fun.. and word is that even though we're likely starting the days later to allow more people to travel easier and cheaper, that there are going to be some 'grudge' matches allowed at the end.. hmm.. you all know there are teams you'd like just one more chance to play... let 'em know you want to see them there!!

let's keep rumble alive!

-beanie

Also, working on what Colleen posted, if you want to help out by volunteering for the crew and don't mind us working you to death =) then send us an email! Students are especially encouraged as since we are student run, let's make this a student competition. (Note: students = high school AND college) So lets get ready, and confirm your place @ Rumble and/or on the crew today!

Hey Anton, Colleen, Lora-

If you need any refs or judges for rumble, my mom and I would be glad to volunteer. We both have experience.
Just let us know when and where and we will get there

-Erin

Since the scoring software was brought up, I guess this is as good a place as any to mention a small program that I'm working on...for those of you that are tired of entering all the data after the refs turn in the scores, I'm working on a Palm database that calculates the scores when each scoring item(yellow balls, black balls, hanging, etc.) is entered in, and the scores are then one-click imported into the program after the PDA is hotsynced. Interested? Drop me an e-mail...

Nate,

It would be dam cool if there were a wireless network setup between the Ref's palms and the scoring computer FIRST uses. That way they wouldn't even have to sync. Course that probably requires just a tad bit more effort.

Not to mention that I don't have the hardware to design it... =)
