Go to Post I think this can be cleared up easily...one of the New Hampshire teams needs to go dumpster diving at FIRST HQ and look for an invoice. - Vaillancourt88 [more]

This is now the second great team to 'fall' to the pressures of being such a great example to all FIRST teams.

Mike B. and the Boston Edison team dropped out also after being a chairmans winner and teacher of the year.

The stress of maintaining a high level excellance is indeed very great and very real.

This very condition has been a hot topic at the tables of FIRST for several years. No clear answers have come to light.

Chief Delphi is doing constant revisions/reorganizations and 'Thinking Smarter' about our activities so as not to 'Burn-out' key people that make activities for our youth happen. But yet we try to maintain our high standard of activities and committment to FIRST.

I have heard from several other teams ( no quite so famous )that will not be competing this year due to job related/business stress. They also cite Money, Teacher time and engineer time as a major consideration.

How are other teams dealing with this real possibility?

What are you doing to survive?

Hey FIRST are you listening? Be warned!

We all need to TALK.

I am in SHOCK........no Baxter Bomb Squad.
