Got you all beat......
When I was in junior high none of your parents were born yet.......eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
There were no computers, I had counting beads.
There were no calculators. just chalk boards.
There were no Robots, just slaves, bought in the market... Mom went for $2.00
We had light bulbs '1' but no electricity, it hadnt been invented yet.
There was no sunshine unless you were rich.
Air was rationed, one gulp per day.
School was up a 10 mile steep hill, both ways.
Food was plentifull if you could run fast and your spear was sharp.
For xmas I got lego blocks............................................ .........1
I did have new shoes but I had to share them with the rest of the family.
Vacations were trips to the basement for coal....... 4 miles straight down.
Thats how old I am.
God help me.......... :-)

You kids don't know how good you have it!

When I started programming, we didn't have all these sissy icons and windows...
All we had were ones and zeros...
Sometimes, we ran out of ones...
Ever try programming a control in nothing but zeros?
Did ya? Huh?
And when ya ran out of zeros, you had to use the letter O...

And don't even ask about the obsidian end mills for the Bridgeports...

Wow Mike you lucky dog...... you had ones and zeros, we only had 'dots' and 'blanks' when I was young.
And you had bridgeports with an obsidian end mill, we had to use our teeth to scrape shavings off our crude castings of bronze.
Nick.

Hey Andy-

Well-known Facts:
1. at some point - known to be *after* age 37 - you start to slow down
2. you continue learning important things your whole life

Based on these facts, its clear (to me anyway) that I'm perfectly optimized at my current age. Don't worry, you will get here eventually )

Looking forward to another season battling (or better yet allying with) the Technokitties,
Ken

I'll tell you one thing... these TechnoKitties have a few suprises in store for the rest of you. We've been focusing on having fun this year. So far this year, we've done some pretty fun stuff, and we are gonna kick it up a notch come Competition time!

As for getting older and slowing down... you got me there. Although I'm a few years younger than you, I probably have to act older, since I've got two crumb-grabbers at home and one on the way!... ship date is in July!

We would definitely like to team up with the Huskies once again... I must say that I'd rather be allied with you guys as opposed to being up against you.

Andy B.
