In need of 8" skyway wheels

Posted by Joe Balint at 1/15/2001 10:24 AM EST

Engineer on team #537, Domo ARIGATO, from Sussex Hamilton HS and GE Medical Systems.

I'm sure we're not the only ones, but our team is in desperate need of 6 of those 8" wheelchair wheels and I'm having a difficult time finding a distributor that has them in stock. Does anyone have:
1) any leads on distributors that have some in stock?
2) any spare 8"x1" skyway wheels for sale or trade?
Please let me know. Thanx. -Joe

Careful...the Skyway wheels are the only ones allowed as additional hardware.

Eric.

Call Skyway Direct: 800-332-3357, and ask for Bart. The 8" wheels are about $5.00 each, unless you want the souped-up bearing version. He'll ship the wheels out the day you call.

Joe. and any other team thats in need. We are the
Sie H20 Bots Team 237 and we have the H.E.R.O. booth.
If you need spare parts and are having a hard time finding them you need to call us. If we have it, you have it. No questions asked.
I know we have 8" wheels but are they the wheelchair wheels in the small parts kit, can you give me a part # and where you want it sent.
All we ask is you do the same for any other team in need or bring all the stuff you wont be using to Florida so we can share them out to other teams.
Email me at nick921@hotmail.com
or leave a post here.
