Team Update 5

Posted by ChrisH at 1/25/2001 2:58 AM EST

Engineer on team #330, Beach 'Bots, from Hope Chapel Academy and NASA JPL, J & F Machine, Raytheon, et al.

For those of you who haven't noticed yet, Team Update 5 is on the FIRST website. I didn't see any postings mentioning it before I checked just now, so I thought I'd let you all know.

Many important changes and finally a detailed view of the bridge pivot!

Good Reading!

Hello,

I was just wondering what people thing about FIRST finally allowing any Joystick you can find to be used. I've always envisioned a control system with pedals for the track drive or something like that. What do people think about this change that's been a long time coming?

: what brand ?

we went with the entry level Logitech Attack... comfy, 3 buttons right off the thumb, quick trigger, an accurate throttle we might actually use... we're in the debugging stage as far as i know...
