Car Nack Predicts

Posted by Bill Beatty.

Other on team #71, Team Hammond, from Team Hammond.

Posted on 11/9/2000 9:13 AM MST

The following predictions are for the CDI

1. The winners will be uncontested and will probably be determined before the Presidential election will be.

2. There will be no zero to zero ties.

3. The rotating beacons will also become flashing lights on many robots because of tripping battery circuit breakers.

4. One of the most coveted awards that will be presented will be for the most innovative or creative use of the Whirling-Squares-O-Pegboard.

5. If there are no rejections, the number one seed will be on the winning alliance.

6. With the 50 per cent increase in match duration, many robots will start to exhaust battery power to the point that performance will be affected.

7. None of the bottom six seeds will have used the Whirling-Squares-O-Pegboard.

8. The number one seed will have used pneumatics on it's robot.

9. After technical check in is completed, the decision will be made to offer an Evelyn Wood reading workshop taught by Dr. Joe.

10. The CDI 2000 will be the best yet!

Car Nack has spoken.

Geeze you must have alot of time on your hands! Good thoughts, and most likely correct ones at that. I especially like #10 - but you missed one.
