Yaw rate sensor (gyro for the layperson)
Has anyone come up with a decent use for the gyro this year?
Personally, I think it would be cool if a team used it to control a holonomic base (can move or spin in any direction). So that the operator didn't have to put himself in the Robot's frame, just point the joystick in the direction that he wanted the Robot to go. But that's not necessarily specific to this game. |
