Upon searching around the net I came across a competition modeled after the FIRST competition. Check it out at www.canadafirst.org. I was just wondering what the possibility could be of a Super Bowl of FIRST? Can you see Canada vs. USA in the near future. I would think it would be cool, what do you think,
have a good one,
Andy Grady, DWC/Alvirne

Well Andy there has been speculation of FIRST going worldwide ever since FIRST changed the name from USFIRST. At that time Canada FIRST already existed. Maybe we will see teams from many other countries real soon.

Lego league debued in Japan not to long ago and if my mind serves me correctly there was a team from canada in FIRST 2 years ago.

I went to the Canada FIRST Web page and was very impressed. Do you think we could merge and bring them into our system, maybe we could have a regional in Canada next year. I think the more teams from the more places the better. and I bet you could have a regional in Canda that was only a couple hours a way from Michigan so there wouldn't be much travel for those teams if they wanted to go. And it would add to the spreading of First. I think we had 2 teams from Canada last year as a part of FIRST.
