Just an FYI-

There's a Lego League competition on December 4th at the Boston Science Museum. I'm not sure of the time, but it would be cool if people could come.

Any schools with FIRST teams have some younger teams competing in this?

Does anyone know if they need help with anything...setting up rounds, etc. or if we'd just be there to watch.

I'm sure we can get a good number of people (5-10) together from our team to help out.

Frank

A little note for everyone:

I'm not totally sure if they need anymore volunteers.. you can get in contact with people at the Museum of Science and ask- otherwise, I think it will be a great event to come watch and support the future members of the high school FIRST teams..

Colleen,

Yes, we have younger teams involved. The Broadway high Robotics team will be sending a few of its high school students down to San Diego for the California competition on Dec 4th. Our students have recruited and assisted a contingent of 7 lego league teams from Los Alamitos Elementary in San Jose, CA. We are looking forward to it. It has been a great experience for our high school students to work with 4th and 5th graders. Very inspiring. Have fun at your Dec 4th event.

Jason

:
Check out the Lego page for info on all the tournaments. There are nine events taking place on 12/4 & 12/11 across the nation. Over 900 teams are entered this year!! the Events will be incredible - imagine 700 10 -14 year olds at the same place!!
