Window Motor Screws
Does anyone know what size screws we should be using with the window motors?

Re: Window Motor Screws
Do you mean the Denso motors or actual "window" motors?
Our team has drilled 1/4" holes into the Denso Motor holes to fit bolts that size. |

Re: Window Motor Screws
You missed the rest of it. [R49] Motors, servos, and electric solenoids used on the Robot shall not be modified in any way, except as follows: A. The mounting brackets and/or output shaft/interface may be modified to facilitate the physical connection of the motor to the Robot and actuated part. |

[R49]B. The electrical input leads may be trimmed to length as necessary. [R49]D. The connector housings on the window motors (PN 262100-3030 and 262100-3040) may be modified to facilitate lead connections. That being said, to answer the OP's question, the window motor was designed to use metric screws; M5s in particular if I'm not mistaken. I would recommend either reaming out or drilling the holes so that #10s can be used; drilling out to 1/4" is less advisable but just as functional. |
