Java-Cannot get camera images on dashboard
We are trying to use the camera to track the target, but we cannot get an image on the dashboard. Netbeans and the Driver Station output the following errors:
"ERROR: S_errno_EINPROGRESS(0x000000044): Failed to connect to the camera ...in CreateCameraSocket() in C:/WindRiver/workspace/WPILib/Vision/AxisCameraParams.cpp at line 457". We are not using WindRiver anymore, but we used to. We never successfully used a camera with WindRiver, but we did try before switching to Java. We've gone through all of the camera configuration and know that it is getting power. We are plugging the camera into port 2 of the 8-slot cRio. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be *greatly* appreciated. Thanks! |

Re: Java-Cannot get camera images on dashboard
Plug the camera into the D-Link DAP instead (after configuring it appropriately). The default Dashboard wants to connect directly to the camera without going through the cRIO.

Re: Java-Cannot get camera images on dashboard
Also, make sure you use a regular patch cable if you go to the router from the camera.
