Exclamation Last year's limit switch code?

We need some help with our limit switches, we are looking at last year's code and we were wondering if we could base our code off of that or if it is completely different... thanks!

Re: Last year's limit switch code?

Nothing significant has changed with the DIO support between last year and this year. You should be able to define and read your digital inputs the same way.

Re: Last year's limit switch code?

The only thing thats changed (correct me if I'm wrong) is the module number in the constructor. In previous years you would pass in the slot number (or exclude the slot number to use the default), this year, if you are specifying the slot number the convention is:
Module = 1 if this is the module in slots 1-4
Module = 2 if this is the module in slots 5-8

You've probably already seen this in other areas if you typically specify your slot/module number, but it is a change.
