Sneak Peak at CD5?

With some of the comments Joe has made lately regarding their machine, seeing that Delphi commercial during the Super Bowl yesterday got me thinking...I wonder if that little hovering ball has anything to do with their machine this year? After all, if you have a machine that can hover(although I'm not real sure how you could do it with the kit this year), it would solve the problem of getting around that huge goal to the other side of the field. How much other 'bot traffic is there going to be in the air?

Also, if the CD design lab is ANYTHING close to what they had in the back of that truck, it's no wonder that they come up with some of the designs that they do(that lovely steering system from last year comes to mind)...

Just a few observations...

Nate

If you look close to the far right corner in the opening few seconds you can see Joe standing holding a clip board next to our robot.

Hover.... well we thought about that but Flordia wind is a problem. Remember inspector gadget.... add to that the comments by Joe and myself in earlier threads and you have a good idea of our machine.

Lets just say to all the wundering minds out there....you will be pleasently surprised. As Mike C. said a thing of beauty and function.
