Wildcats 3540 final bot
Well here is some video from the final test we did today to make sure that our bot can hold up to Anything. This is basically the final bot other then the blocking mech and the arm to push the ramp down. We will be playing defense. In this video you can see our custom gear boxes and suspension/shock system in action (off roading :O) .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ywzc16A5OI in this video we go over a nearly 7" curb with a dead battery (around 11.95-12.05v) and only 3 of our four motors working http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZsMWhK-vNU All in all we have had a great time this year. I think our bot is going to do well this year (as you can see it can hold up to almost anything). We had some prototypes for shooters that could shoot nearly the entire field but we didn't have the resources or man power to do everything and decided to focus on the drive train and chassis. See ya in Raleigh! |

Re: Wildcats 3540 final bot
So, you can drive onto the bridge, and push balls. Is that it?

I believe they also plan on playing defense.

Re: Wildcats 3540 final bot
Yes, we can block balls, push balls, driver over bump, onto bridge and hopefully play really good defence

Re: Wildcats 3540 final bot
I think a specialized defensive bot can do quite well this year, if the driver knows how to not get penalties. You guys have quite the tank!
