Small parts
Posted by Richard Ragunton Jr.
Student on team #359 from Waialua High School. Posted on 2/20/2000 6:03 PM MST Hi, I was wondering, when calculating the amount spent on small parts would we could the full amount purchased or the amout used on the robot. Example: we purchase the minimum length of akuminim which costs $50 for 10 ft, we only used 5ft for our robot, would we count only $25 because thats all we used for our robot or would we have to count the whole cost? |

For example, if you buy 5' of rod which could have been purchased by the foot, but end up using only 6', you may calculate the amount used as the purchase price for one foot (the minimum amount that you could have purchased in order to build your robot.)
