Non-Axis Camera

My team wants to add another camera on our robot for the driver (no image processing). We were wondering if it is possible to use a camera other than the Axis 206/M1101.
We have a TRENDnet camera, http://www.trendnet.com/products/pro...-IP110&cat=152
and have tried to get it to connect to the Driver's Station with no luck. We have changed the IP address to the same as our current camera, 10.34.14.11, and made an account on the camera with the username/password set as FRC. We then unplugged our current camera, and replaced it with this camera. The DS could not connect. We also set the IP to the Axis default and run the Axis Camera Set-Up tool, which said it could not log into the camera. We can connect to the camera thought a browser when it is connected directly to a computer.
This camera does not allow you to change the admin username, but allows you to change the admin password, and make a general user and guest account that can view the video stream. I believe that this might be the problem.
So, is it possible to use a camera other than the Axis 206/M1101, and if so, how would we use this camera?

Re: Non-Axis Camera

As mentioned in other threads, I'd probably launch a viewer app or perhaps the web browser. To build up the CGI requests is a bit tricky. It isn't hard, but http servers are unforgiving about white spaces and other syntactical issues.
