Re: pic: Quadcopter
Very cool! I have been working on my own quadcopter for some time now. It's forced me to to learn how to solder properly, amongst other things. 8lbs load capacity sounds like a lot, what's the Kv rating of your motors? Awesome work!

Re: pic: Quadcopter
I misspoke, I mean 8lbs lifting capacity which included the weight of the copter which is about 3lbs. The motors are 380watt NTNs, 1100kv.
The controller is an Ardunio based controller called KK2 from hobbyking. It's a veryyy nice controller for $25 and as self level. |

Re: pic: Quadcopter
Hello Mk.32,
Very cool !. Do you have a website with instructions on how to build one using your design ? A group of college students @ SLU have built a quad-copter and their hope is to get their design shared with K-12 schools..... http://codyalger.wix.com/sluquad Here is the story of Cody, the senior designer: http://parks.slu.edu/future-students...es/cody-alger/ |
