Truly a Quality Award???

First of all I would like to say that this post is in no way meant to degrade the winners of this award. In my opinion the past couple of years the motorola quality award has been given out to teams for other reasons than that they had the best quality robot. The past two winners have both been good robots and good teams, however I would not say that they were the highest quality of machines that were out there. I think that a team such as a motorola, Pontiac-Delphi, and the Assabets etc... of the competition were more deserving of this prestigeous award. I think that if someone just has a fabulous robot one year, that they deserve the recognition. They shouldn't get dicarded for awards just because they already one some. In my opinion Spreading out the awards in some ways tarnishes the prestige of the awards and the competition. Just my opinion.
