Uniquely identify cRIO from code?
Is any of the cRIO serial number or MAC address information available from LabVIEW? We are thinking about doing some auto-config based on which cRIO we are running on (the competition bot, the practice bot, or our training cRIO...)
I know we can put a file on the root of each cRIO's file system with it's unique name and read that to identify which one we are running on, just curious what other options we have. I saw http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/1717, but the warnings about how it mucks about with the FPGA scare me... |

Re: Uniquely identify cRIO from code?
I have the sysconfig VIs installed on my system and in fact that is what the cRIO imaging tool is built from. They do return serial number and other low level information about the controller.

Re: Uniquely identify cRIO from code?
We assign each cRIO a different team number and read the ip address.
