Cypress System on a chip
Not sure what we will use this for, but trying to follow directions for getting the PSoC image file loaded on the board and when I get to the point where I load the .hex file from the classmate, it tell s me that it is the wrong version "the hex file was built for silicon revision ES3, but the aquired version is revision **.
The hex file that I have on the classmate is FRC_IO.2012.v3.hex, the instructions call for FRC_IO.v3.hex or FRC_IO.v3.2010.hex (or latest version) file. Any ideas. Thanks. |

Re: Cypress System on a chip
The .hex file to use, depends on when your Team received the PSOC-3.
The FRC_IO.v3.hex file should be used if your team received it's PSOC-3 prior to 2010. The FRC_IO.v3.2010.hex should be used if your team received it's PSOC-3 in 2010 or 2011 The FRC_IO.2012.v3.hex should be used if your team received it's PSOC-3 last year. PS..... If you would be so kind as to PM me and so I can have you email me some these as I no longer have the older versions and happen to need it. |
