Simple conveyer
Our team is looking to design a simple conveyer type system to pick up the disks, We have looked on the internet and YouTube. Just want to see if anyone out there has any plans, suggestions, or resources we could use to design and build a simple conveyer system to pick up the disks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Simple conveyer
This seems like a good candidate for conveyor material:
http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...hreadid=104281 Our prototype for a grabber (to get disks onto the belt) was a PVC pipe wrapped in surgical tubing with a small plastic wedge; it worked great. |

If your team has never played around with it, I would highly recommend it. It's useful for all sorts of things from prototyping to conveyors. Get a few meters of it from McMaster. We usually get P/N 59725K704. |

Re: Simple conveyer
Here is what we are doing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=JCvc2VOaN_s It is relatively simple and only requires one motor. This is the prototype the real one is still being designs to be more compact and efficient. I hope this is of use. |
