FRC Team Subreddit
MORT Team 11 has started a sub-Reddit to spread our message and document the 2013 Build + Competition Season! We hope that other teams will make use of this easy way to share content, be it links, pictures, or videos.
Feel free to post any content related to FIRST, robotics, science and technology, etc... And follow MORT through this build season! LINK: reddit.com/r/FIRST_Team_11 ![]() Last edited by ajc4nn0n : 12-01-2013 at 10:19. |

Re: FRC Team Subreddit
Whether or not Reddit is an appropriate website for young people aside, I don't think Reddit is really designed for links to come from a single source. It's more of a community collaboration board than a blog format.

Re: FRC Team Subreddit
The idea is that other teams would post content as well as follow MORT's progress. Just an avenue for our team to reach out to other teams.

Re: FRC Team Subreddit
So why not just make a thread in /r/FRC ?

Re: FRC Team Subreddit
While the FRC subreddit is a great way for teams to connect with other teams, we feel that our community specifically (parents, sponsors, fellow classmates) would be more inclined to join our team specific reddit first, sort of like telling people in our community to come to a school basketball game, simply to support us. Once they join our subreddit, the hope is that they develop a general interested in FIRST and FRC, and then perhaps they WILL join the FRC subreddit and such
