Video: Robot Climbing for 30 points

Here is video of one team that has figured out how to climb to the top for 30 points. There's even a celebrity cameo appearance in the beginning.

Re: Video: Robot Climbing for 30 points

Interesting idea I think you go go to Championships with this idea. I think I might just use this idea on my team's robot.

Re: Video: Robot Climbing for 30 points

That's a great climber, but it took you over three minutes. I think you better work on making it faster!

I'm genuinely impressed by this. Tune it to work in 30 seconds and it could be a game changer!

Re: Video: Robot Climbing for 30 points

Why did you have to post this? My team and I thought we'd have such a huge advantage being the only team able to do this! We were hoping this design would give us an award!
Now, not only do we know that another team figured it out at the same time, if not earlier, than we did, but that everyone in all of FIRST Robotics knows about this brilliant, game changing design!

Unfortunately this idea is outside of our fabrication abilities.
