AndyMark Axis M1011/M1013 Cameras

We ordered the M1011 camera from andymark and received the m1013 instead. Did anyone else get the wrong model? The packaging looks similar to the m1011 we have, but the lens on the actual camera is different. Before we open up the box, does anybody know if the m1013 is almost the same as the m1011?

Re: AndyMark Axis M1011/M1013 Cameras

The M1011 was replaced by the M1013. The M1013 has a wider field of view (67 degrees vs 47 degrees) and adjustable focus. With the wider viewing angle, check your distance calculations if you are using the default vision program.

Here is the datasheet that has information on both cameras:

Re: AndyMark Axis M1011/M1013 Cameras

Well, the m1013 has quite a few changes in terms of image sensors/lens, so we're in a bit of trouble because we have one of each, and we need two of the same. Do you know where we could purchase a M1011? We don't want to order another from AndyMark, because they advertise m1011 and sell m1013!

Bought 2 used Axis M1011 cameras off Ebay for $75 each. Both worked fine.
