Test Mode and Driver Station?

I've noticed a function in SimpleRobot called test(), commented that it is called once every time "test mode" is entered. How do I enable test mode in the driver station? All I see are teleop, autonomous, and practice modes.

Then you might have the wrong Driver Station.
On the Diagnostics tab what does it list for DS version (below the USB Devices list of the Joysticks/IO/Kinect)?

I'm not at our programming laptop at the moment, I will check tomorrow. But the image you posted does look different than our driver station, I suspect I need to install the new 2013 update from NI. Thanks.

Can't hurt to install it twice.

Just a word of warning: uninstall the tools from last year before installing the software from this year. Apparently there were a few teams that had issues installing the new driver station over the old one.

Installed the update, works like a charm. Thanks guys.

Anyone reading this: if you're a Java team and want to use SmartDashboard, you have to enable Java in the Driver Station settings, then it will work.
