Re: MOEmentum Week 5 "Break Robot. Re-engineer. Repeat"

Good tips, but I would focus on making them more realistic for rookie teams. I doubt many rookies are finishing their robots before week 5 (I know we didn't). Also, it would be nice if you guys updated it for this year. There are few things now that don't apply (Website Award, Crates, Shipping).

I like this.
My team has a problem with the "Re-engineer. Repeat" parts. We got that first bit down pat though...

Agreed. And for some reason, my captain handed me four pieces of chain today, all are two or three links too short for our drive train. HMMMM....

Also, our wooden prototype shooter works 1 million times better than our nice shiny metal one. All of that machining vs. the 2x4 w/ the screws in it and the old mounting bracket. Maybe I'll just strap the wooden one on the top of the pretty metal one. It is less than 30 lbs of withholding. We won't be able to go under the pyramid though.

We have some rookies in our shop last weekend and this week that were hanging out with you [pascack] earlier in January. I will pass on the rookie info to them.
