Wiring the Air Compressor and Pressure Switch

I am from a rookie team from Canada, and we are having trouble wiring the Compressor and Pressure switch to the digital sidecar. We have connected the spike relay to the relay the relay ports on the digital sidecar, and the pressure switch to the Digital I/O port. Hopefully someone will be able to help. We are starting to think it is a software problem. So I am not sure if I am restricted from post programming related problems in the electrical. So just to be safe, I am going to make another thread in the programming forum.

Re: Wiring the Air Compressor and Pressure Switch

The pressure switch should be connected between the SIG and - pins on the DIO port. Even without the Spike functioning, the Relay status LEDs on the Digital Sidecar will tell you whether the pressure switch is calling for more air. If it doesn't light up green when you enable the robot, try shorting the SIG and - pins directly. If that doesn't do anything, it's time to look at the code.
