Collecting info about climbing robots in one place
I added a tag to my blog specifically for collecting robot videos and pictures of climbing. I only post things that are published here or on youtube or reddit.com/r/frc, and I will link back to the original discussion. My goal is just to get all the info in one place for showcasing and scouting. I also ak trying to nail down names for the different types of climbing.
blog link Let me know if i missed any other threads or methods of climbing, please. :-) |

Re: Collecting info about climbing robots in one place
Nemo made sure we didn't shoot our climbing video this weekend, but I was able to add a few more to the blog. I'm sure a few more were released that I missed.
Too bad many teams are likely saving the reveal for Premiere Night, which is too bad, though the show will be exciting. Keep those climbing videos coming! |

Re: Collecting info about climbing robots in one place
Heh. We don't have a water jet. We have copious amounts of student labor, a mill, and a forstner drill bit.
The students do all the work on a mill and lathe and we weld everything. One reason why we paint so late in our season is that we are still making parts. No sending out drawings for our team, its all handcrafted. LOL |
