Walkie-Talkies at competition

I am posting this on behalf of my team's mentor who does not have an account here. He is having trouble getting on to the FRC Q&A and asked me to ask around about whether or not walkie-talkies are allowed at competitions this year, as they do not seem to be expressly prohibited. Also, if anyone has any advice on how to get onto Q&A, that would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Re: Walkie-Talkies at competition

I am not FRC Q&A, but I think they would be discouraged. They are likely used in many regionals to coordinate people.

Re: Walkie-Talkies at competition

Your team's Q&A ID and password are listed in TIMS.

Section 4.15 of the Administrative Manual lists some common site restrictions. One of them says
Do not use walkie-talkies.
