Student Interns - Michigan
Posted by Ken Patton.   [PICTURE: SAME | NEW | HELP]
Engineer on team #65, The Huskie Brigade, from Pontiac Northern High School and GM Powertrain. Posted on 10/11/2000 3:50 PM MST We also have many opportunities for student interns or co-ops. Engineering students interested in the areas I mentioned in my previous post, feel free to send me a resume also. We usually make our selections for the next spring/summer before the end of the year, so this month (October) is the time to get a resume in. Another area that we are considering for a summer intern: using Studio 3D Max to animate some of our powertrain technologies from Unigraphics CAD models. We stick to the 3.0 GPA or higher rule for students, too. And yes, you can probably get in on the FIRST-related activities, depending on the time of year. Our 1999 team had an 18 year old college freshman from Kettering U. as our robot controls engineer for his co-op assignment! Ken Patton GM Powertrain Advanced Engineering kenneth.patton@gm.com |
