Compressor to Pressure Switch
Hey Teams,
Just a quick and silly question for you. My team built the Andy Mark pneumatic set up that can be found at the following website: http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2000.htm The picture shows a 4 way union where the pressure switch is mounted. My rules team member showed us the picture from the game manual where it says that the system must look like their example circuit. In the circuit they have the pressure switch mount later in the system. It makes sense that the switch is after the tanks to me but I could be wrong. Haven't used pneumatics in almost 5 years so we're a little rusty. Thanks, 1033 |

Re: Compressor to Pressure Switch
As long as the pressure switch is on the high side before the pressure regulator its locations doesn't matter. When they tell you it needs to look like the example they mean items in similar order.

Re: Compressor to Pressure Switch
Your system must look like the system in the manual in that all components are effectively in the same place. The Pressure switch needs to be anywhere on the High side of the system. See R87.
The pressure relief valve however needs to be directly connected to the compressor per rule R86. |
