Solenoid problems
hi,
our team has almost a day left before we put the robot in a box and ship it out so please answer quick. we have programmed and wired correctly the 2 double solenoids that we are using, the lights changed from side to side (like their suppose to), and the the pneumatic pistons have pressure in them. But when we push the buttons to go down and up the pistons do not change. please help thanx |

Re: Solenoid problems
Do the lights on the solenoid breakout board (on the cRio) change along with the ones of the valves?

Re: Solenoid problems
Someone else just asked that earlier today--use the open slots in the 24V port the cRIO connects to. I believe they're C and NC, can't quite remember which wire goes to which.

Re: Solenoid problems
The PDB datasheet suggests the terminals go +-+-. Best bet is to check with a voltmeter, though.

What do you mean?
We have two whole hours left. Enough time for a redesign... ![]() |
