Scouting Excel Spreadsheet.

So, I've decided to try and provide a suitable Excel spreadsheet document for teams to use while at competition. The Spreadsheet covers things such as Autonomous, Shooting, Comments, and so on.

I'll post it here, and I welcome any and all feedback to improve it so it's ready come Competition time. Currently it allows to write down 50 teams' information, but that can be changed and lengthened. Let me know
\Adam

Re: Scouting Excel Spreadsheet.

If you look at the spreadsheet, you'll see a section for Scoring. I'm not 100% on this, but the scoring is 1, 2, 3, and 5 points correct?

Yes, 1 point for the low goal next to the feeder stations, 2 points for each of the two goals on the sides above the drivers stations, 3 points for the highest goal above the drivers stations, and 5 points for scoring in the top of the pyramid with colored frisbees.

Re: Scouting Excel Spreadsheet.

If you would like any advice for what you should include, let me know. I work as one of the Vet scouters for Team 180 S.P.A.M. from Martin County, FL. We have a scouting sheet that we make publicly but our excel is not if I remember correctly. So most I can do for excel is give you hints ^^

Re: Scouting Excel Spreadsheet.

Thank you team 180 for your provisions. I'm a semi-pro at Excel, but I think the one I compiled is suitable for Competiton. Not trying to steal fame or glory, just trying to help out where possible!

I hope I didn't come off as competitive, for I love seeing other ways to do things and scouting is no exception. Your spreadsheet solution seems like a very efficient way for someone to gather information about the competition for alliance selections without having to devote 6+ people at any given time as our team does. The only thing i think i would add is a place for missed shots, as it helps provide an idea of how many disks might be on the ground in future matches. Good luck at the North Carolina regional; hopefully we see you in St. Louis!

Oh no, you didn't at all! Thanks for the advice, I'll most certainly add it into the spreadsheet ASAP. Good luck and see you in St. Louis
