Hey all...

Seems the bot craze is taking off...this was a message posted in the Yahoo! FIRST Robotics Club...was too interesting to me not to share with the rest of the FIRSTers out there. =)

'Who is the best robot builder in the land?

A brand new television series on The Learning Channel is out to answer that very question. So, if you think you've got the stuff to be the best robotic designer, builder and operator send an e-mail to agreenberger@rbiproductionsinc.com, or call 323-993-7384 and ask for Andrew Greenberger, Senior Segment Producer for TLC's Robot Challenge.

TLC's Robot Challenge will feature six vastly different competitions, ranging from speed to strength to intelligence. Of the thousands of entries, 24 top robot designers and operators will be selected to travel to Los Angeles, California, where they will compete for the title of champion.

And, starting this Spring, the Robot Challenge will air nationwide on The Learning Channel!

In addition to traveling to Los Angeles, those selected to participate will become 'stars' on the upcoming series for the Learning Channel. Camera crews will travel to your hometown, where you will be the subject of a documentary, profiling your life and your robot.'
