Go to Post The culture has shifted, people. You can act shocked and complain, and likely lose the attention of the students you want to reach through FRC and other activities, or you can shift with it, and make FRC relatable and relevant to a bunch of good kids with foul mouths. - mrnoble [more]

Re: pic: 207

This is probably one of the coolest-looking robots I've seen this year.

207 builds an impressive robot year after year. It was a 207's Aim High bot that hooked me on FRC. Congratulation on wining the Quality Award at the LA Regional.

The way you guys use box tubing is amazing. It just looks so elegant and different from what other teams build using the same raw materials. And somehow you even made it look good bare.

Re: pic: 207

Thanks guys for the kind words. We always get stuck trying to make it look good, I feel sometimes we sacrifice functionality for appearance and complexity.

But it's fun, we like making chips and when the day is done we like what we built, most all of them are tanks.

We think we have built clean machines, now we just gotta get the simple down.

Clean and simple
