cRIO Serial Bridge
For those without access to a serial port, either native or USB, I've made this project. It uses a couple open-source 3rd party programs to create virtual COM ports, and connects them to the cRIO with the help of labview project I made.
You can then use the cRIO's serial port as if it were native. I've used it to run the BDC-COMM utility to update and recover jaguars. I hope the directions are clear enough to get it working. FRC cRIO Serial Bridge It's a pretty simple setup. I'm open to any suggestions. Enjoy |

Re: cRIO Serial Bridge
That's a pretty cool project. It also allows you to avoid unplugging the serial bridge from the cRIO which may be buried in the robot somewhere.
