Airline Seats Availability in April
Posted by S. Krussell.
Coach on team #349, Robahamas, from International Academy and Ford Motor Co.. Posted on 11/25/2000 9:13 PM MST Hi All, How many of you have already purchased your group flights to Florida in April? Because we received the competition dates so early this season (September), I started looking for seats, and discovered, to my surprise that many flights were already sold out. I talked to all airlines traveling between Detroit and Orlando, and found reasonable fares with US Airways. ($166 base fare per seat round trip, plus taxes and fuel surcharge brought the total to $229) The only other flights available (this was about a month ago) were through Northwest at $435 per seat! And that was group fare. And without taxes and surcharge. If you have the seats for your team, what airline are you flying? If you don't have your seats, have you checked the flight availability yet? |
