does anyone know of any effective videos or guides for learning how to program an NXT. My team doesn't find the how to from the NXT software effective.

nxtprograms.com has many examples.

Oregon Robotics has a good tutorial

And there are many others if you search. forums.usfirst.org has a very helpful FLL coaches community and is a good place to ask NXT-specific questions.
