This is just me remembering from 2 years ago when I stayed there, and this year when I was visiting friends..

Each All-Star has multiple pools each, general dining area(s?), arcades.. One of them has their arcade open all night I believe.. The food.. If you've got the package and have the meal passes, it's great, you just fill up your tray with more than you can eat so whatever you don't finish is hopefully in a closed container that you can bring with you to the parks.. If you don't have the meal pass, it adds up kind of quickly, but it's Disney, so would you really expect anything less?? It's a pretty decent variety of food.. They've got a Grille, Pasta, healthier food area, and others that I'm not remembering.. It might take you a while to get your food though, especially if you want things from multiple lines.. Oh, and if you buy one of those commemoritive cups, it's great, because you get free refills at the soda machines.. And you don't have to go into the area where you have to pay money to get it.. I've got multiple of those cups because I forgot to bring it back the next year.. Oops..

Hope that helped.. And I'm sure that if you want to do the research, there's something online that will tell you everything..

Kate

Yeah...Kate hit it dead on. Multiple pools, a food court in the front lobby area --- food isn't bad really, and by all means GET ONE OF THE COMMERORITIVE CUPS! It will save you a lot from the killer Disney prices on drinks. (Hint: Fill up the cup in the morning and bring it to the Pits...lasts for a bit before having to shell out for more drinks) The arcade is always popular with the students, and having so many teams concentrated in one place makes it great to meet new people.

Tansportation to and from FIRST and the parks is excellent, though might be a little crowded if you try to catch a bus right after a park closes.

I personally enjoyed my 2 years in the All Stars ('98 in sports, '00 in music). It's not the classiest, but it's perfect for a FIRST team. I'm rather sad that I won't be there this year... )

Speaking of the commemoritive cups.... i tried bringing them to the pits last year... it didn't work, i always drank in on the busride there. What we need is one of those camelbacks... that can carry like 100 oz of water. Fill one of those bad boys up, and we're set for the day. Just a suggestion
