Pneumatics
Posted by Mark Jones at 1/9/2001 1:49 PM EST
Engineer on team #343, Metal-in-Motion, from Hamilton Career Center. The pneumatics manual indicates that along with the two cylinders supplied with the kit, (4) additional custom cylinders can be ordered to be utilized on the robot for a total of (6) cylinders. However, only three electric valves are supplied in the kit, and there is no mention of any additional one's allowed in the additional hardware list. Are we allowed to purchase additional valves? |

The only thing I can think of is that you might want 2 cylindars in parallel running on 1 valve. Less speed, more push. Matt B. T49 |
