Torque-Speed Curves
Posted by Jason "JDoggyDog" Trotter at 1/13/2001 2:55 PM EST
Student on team #191, X-CATS, from Joseph C. Wilson Magnet High School. Does anyone know where I can get the torque-speed curves for this years motors? Thanks for any help, Jason "JDoggyDog" Trotter |

This section of the rule book will also give you information about the other motors (stall torque, speed) these have no graphs. |

Joe- Do you have any real curves for the fisher price, Van door, Bosch/Van door, drill motors w/or without gear box, or the new Belimo motor. If so, would you willing to share that information? Having worked at ITT Automotive, I fugure you must have a dyno on-site that you are using to get real speed-torque and current torque curves. Please let me know. -Joe |

Theoretical has always been close enough for me...

We have designed with the theoretical values (using the published Stall Torque & Free Speeds). This as always been close enough for us. In practice, the results have matched the calculations close enough for us to trust them. Joe J. |
