Hello all My name is Paul I have been doing FLL for a long time now and have spent the last four years as a mentor to teams all in the Arrowhead school district. I am mentoring 4 teams this year and coaching one and advising one.
I work in the winter as a teacher for after school programming classes for one of the district schools and created a whole NXT curriculum that gets kids from no experience to strong understanding in 4 two hour classes. What I am getting at is even though this is my first post, I have experience.
well I was inspired to seize the opportunity of creating quick tip tutorials for the new software and not only am I looking for constructive criticism but also ideas for things to cover, keep in mind if you have a programming problem you just can't explain to the kids, if you send it to me (maybe even the whole file be sure to include myblock files) I can record what you want them to know and then they learned it without the coaches and mentors telling them explicitly.
I created a youtube playlist on my teams channel and right now only have enough material and time for weekly updates, I want to up that to twice weekly updates.
