Instructable = CNC Router
What caught my eye is this is a FTC student. He built this for school, but is also involved in FTC and woodworking..

That was researched, written and built by a 16 year old? Very, very impressive. And that's from an old guy who just built a CNC router himself.
The design could easily be built using English units instead of metric, and it seems reasonably solid for what it is. I'd consider a Hitachi M12VC router instead though.

I was looking at that on my iPod, as I get those email notifications on what's new. I want to build a couple of these, one for home, and one for my team (sell it for a very low price)

Have an app running on an ipad to draw on. As you are drawing on the tablet, the CNC etches in those places! You will be able to draw in Steel!

I worked on the spindle, yes it is a RC outrunner. Were running slow in the video so there's a lot of chatter.
