stretcher & goal ...?
Posted by Anton Abaya at 1/17/2001 1:29 AM EST
Coach on team #419, Rambots, from UMass Boston / BC High and NASA, Mathsoft, Solidworks. from what i can tell of these blueprints that nobody likes... they are both 4 3/8" in height from the floor to the top of the wood of both. So I wonder if anyone can verify for me this info as well as my GUESS that the aluminum 11" horizontal bar resting on the goal is THE SAME HEIGHT from the gound.... it seems so, but i'd rather get everyone's opinion on this one... |

Other on team #73, Tigerbolt, from Edison Technical HS and Alstom & Rochester Institute of Technology. In Reply to: You're right, they're the same height Posted by Andy Baker on 1/17/2001 7:18 AM EST: Well, I'll ask a further question: Anyone want to tell me the height of the top of the grab bar on the goal from the ground? It'd be rather helpful. Matt |

Engineer on team #45, TechnoKats, from Kokomo High School and Delphi Delco Electronic Systems. In Reply to: Height of the bar Posted by Matt Leese on 1/17/2001 9:52 AM EST: The top of the grab bar is 3 and 5/16" over the goal base. That would make it 7 and 11/16" above the floor. Mark |
