Looking for Oklahoma residents

We are a FIRST LEGO League team from Michigan studying tornadoes in Oklahoma. We are looking for input from residents of Oklahoma.

We have to find a potential problem within natural disasters and then create an innovative solution for that problem. We have chosen tornadoes as our disaster, and the problem we found is rescuers not finding people who are buried under rubble fast enough. Our solution would be a two-part device. The rescuers would have a tracking device for after a tornado (it would also work for other natural disasters). The other side of our solution, is a receiving and transmitting device that would be with the survivors. The transceiver would be in the clothing that you wear utilizing nanotechnology.
(We did our research and understand that this type of nanotechnology is in the research phase, but it is still our idea)

What do you think of our idea?

Would you want to wear clothing like this?

Please answer in this thread, or email sharks@paradiseteams.org, thank you.
