Introducing SolidWorks Electrical

SolidWorks Electrical software is used for designing electrical systems.

SolidWorks Electrical 2D Schematic provides single-line and multi-line schematic tools. SolidWorks Electrical 3D provides bi-directional updates between the 2D schematic and the 3D CAD model. You can generate drawings, wire lists, “From-To” lists, and other documentation for manufacturing.

This year, we are supplying FIRST teams two SolidWorks Electrical applications:
SolidWorks Electrical Schematic (separate 2D application, no SolidWorks 3D CAD required)
SolidWorks Electrical 3D (SolidWorks 3D CAD required)

We are creating a SolidWorks Electrical Kit of Parts for the 2014 season to help all teams get started that will be available after kick off.

Apply now for team sponsorship at www.SolidWorks.com/FIRST.

The SolidWorks Robot Suite provides SolidWorks 3D CAD, SolidWorks Simulation and SolidWorks Electrical.

The SolidWorks Robot Suite is based on SolidWorks 2013 and is watermarked. Fulfillment is subject to US export compliance. Marie

Re: Introducing SolidWorks Electrical

Question on licensing of the new Solidworks programs other than the 3D design software.

Will teams that received licenses from Solidworks for 3D design earlier this fall need to re-apply for new sponsorship in order to get access to these new programs?

Thanks

Re: Introducing SolidWorks Electrical

If you already applied for sponsorship for SolidWorks - earlier this summer and did not receive SolidWorks Electrical, please apply again at www.solidworks.com and request SolidWorks Electrical.

You should have two seperate serial numbers
1. SolidWorks
2. SolidWorks Electrical

Verify that you have received SolidWorks 2013. Go to Help>About SolidWorks.

You must have SolidWorks SP3 to run SolidWorks Electrical 3D.

Sorry for the inconvience, this product came out later in the year and I just thought it was perfect for FIRST teams.

Marie
