Van Door Motor
Posted by Brian at 1/30/2001 8:15 PM EST
Student on team #670, HHSRC, from Homestead High School. How do you connect the van door motor to any wires that can then be connected to a speed connector. Thanks |

Spade connectors

Engineer on team #47, Chief Delphi, from Pontiac Central High School and Delphi Automotive Systems. In Reply to: Van Door Motor Posted by Brian on 1/30/2001 8:15 PM EST: You can use spade connectors as you like. They have worked well for us in the past. There are also those black and red squarish connectors (Andersen?) that work very well as well. I haven't even looked at the electronics bag -- I assume they are still in the kit. Anyway, if you use them be sure to use a tie wrap to ensure that they don't unplug. It stinks to have a motor stop because the wires became unplugged. Joe J. |
