Rookie Team 5196's Kickoff Robot!

We finished out kit bot today around 8:00 and are extremely excited to show you guys! It took a lot of hard work and looking up information online, but we were able to pull through and can now begin really working.

We hope everyone else is having a fun time assembling their robots and beginning the build season!

I'm impressed! A rookie team getting the kitbot built the day of Kickoff--well done. Best of luck in the competition!

Thank you!

We tried to do as much research as we could before build season, including looking at kit bot schematics from the last year. We are all extremely excited to participate.

Re: Rookie Team 5196's Kickoff Robot!

Good job getting the kit-bot done on day one. Our team took two weeks on it rookie year! Now we host a quick build to get rookie teams done with the kit bot on kickoff day. It's nice to see rookies who can do it without such a luxury.

Nice job guys, just make sure you add weight to get the 120lbs and drive on carpet so that you get the real feel of drive an actual robot.
