Gyro Rate Constant

Although the Labview VI for Gyro setup defaults to 0.0125, it looks to me like the sensitivity for the KOP gyro is actually 0.0072 mv/d/s

Anyone verify this for me?

Phil

Re: Gyro Rate Constant

0.007 is what we use.

Edit: The sensor manual currently on the KOP Control System page links to the 2012 documentation.

According the KP Checklist, the gyro is an ADXRS652BBGZ-RL, rather then an ADW22307 as was used in previous years (and what is described in that document).

A quick check of the datasheet makes it look like the sensitivity is configurable. It would be either 0.007 or 0.006.

Re: Gyro Rate Constant

I can confirm that the default of 1.25 does not work and something like 0.0072 does work for the 2014 KOP Gyro
